Psalm 24:1-2
"The earth is the LORD's, and everything in it,
the world, and all who live in it;
for he founded it upon the seas
and established it upon the waters."
The basis for all our worship is recognizing our creator for who he is. He created the heavens and the earth and it all belongs to him. (Click here to read six more biblical examples.) This way of thinking is no small thing. It may sound simple, but if your truly believe that there is a God who created the heavens and the earth and he has an amazing plan for your life it you will revolutionize the way you live today.
Let us change our way of thinking today. Know that God created you and has a purpose for your existence. This is the first foundational belief in God that sets the stage for right thinking about God's plan for your life. Tomorrow we will look at verses 3-6 of Psalm 24 and weigh the implications for this first foundational belief.

Thank you for this blog! You are so right! When we get a grasp of how big God is it will change how we look at the fact that He has a plan and purpose for us. He can do that. He is that big!
It's true that perspective is everything. These scriptures give us a view from the spiritual realm. Everything begins with God. Daily awareness of this perspective radically affects how we conduct our lives here in the natural realm. It can't help but lead us to worship. Blessings!
