"Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death." (Romans 8:1 NIV)
As I journey through the book of Romans there are some verses that seem to leap off the page. Romans 8:1-2 are such verses. I never get tired of reading or quoting them. I remember the first time I really heard these verses I was listening to a Passion recording in college in the middle of one of my favorite worship songs at the time "Amazing Love". All of a sudden I heard the awesome work of the recording producer as he mixed in a couple of highlights of the speakers at the passion conference. Louie Giglio was one of those speakers and he read Romans 8:1-2. My heart leaped into my throat when I heard the words, "There is therefore now no condemnation..."
The recording I was listening to is below; the speaking highlights begin around 3:15 and conclude with Romans 8:1-2 around 4:20. The video is not much to look at, but the song is amazing. I hope you have time to enjoy it!

The Holy Spirit reminds me of this verse any time Satan reminds me of my past. There is no condemnation? How can it be? I will never understand, but am so thankful that it is the truth. Praise be to God forever and ever!
