Patient Endurance and Faithfulness

Today's full Reading: Revelation 13

"He who has an ear, let him hear. If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity he will go. If anyone is to be killed with the sword, with the sword he will be killed. This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of the saints." (Revelation 13:9-10 NIV)

In the last days some amazing and terrifying things will take place. As I read Revelation 13, I see vividly how God's sovereignty orchestrates a majestic symphony of His glory in all things. The more I learn about this God - the One True God, the more I rest in His grace and mercy, and wisdom. God knows best and He knows how to work all things for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28)

So what does this mean for us?

Today, as an act of worship, demonstrate your love for God through patient endurance and faithfulness. May the name of the Lord be praised both now and forevermore.
