Exodus 30:11-31:18 ~ Matthew 26:47-68 ~ Psalm 32:1-11 ~ Proverbs 8:27-32
Psalm 32 is an awesome testimony of God's forgiveness of sin for those who with integrity confess there sins and are open to the rule of God in there lives. He wipes away our sin and restores our strength and hope. Without His forgiveness our sin will simply smother us; without our confession His conviction will likely smother us as well. Clearly, the best thing we can do is come to God with absolute integrity and confess our sins.
1 Blessed is he
whose transgressions are forgiven,
whose sins are covered.2 Blessed is the man
whose sin the LORD does not count against him
and in whose spirit is no deceit.3 When I kept silent,
my bones wasted away
through my groaning all day long.4 For day and night
5 Then I acknowledged my sin to you
your hand was heavy upon me;
my strength was sapped
as in the heat of summer.
Selah
and did not cover up my iniquity.
I said, "I will confess
my transgressions to the LORD "—
and you forgave
the guilt of my sin.
Psalm 32:1-5 (NIV)
Today, as an act of worship, take time to confess to the LORD any known sin in your life. Be set free by His love and grace, this very moment.
