Leviticus 7:28-9:6 ~ Mark 3:31-4:25 ~ Psalm 37:12-29 ~ Proverbs 10:5
Psalm 37:12-29 presents how the worshiper can continually be confident in the LORD - who sees all and know all - by delighting in Him. As we read yesterday, the psalmist instructs the worshiper to be completely satisfied and filled with joy in the LORD. "Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart." (vs. 4)
In today's reading we see that...
23 If the LORD delights in a man's way,
he makes his steps firm;24 though he stumble, he will not fall,
Psalm 37:23-24
for the LORD upholds him with his hand.
These are amazing words and should fill us with abounding joy. God wants to delight in us and the choices we make everyday. He wants to be our hope and confidence and make our steps secure.
Today, as an act of worship, be creative and express your love to God in a special and significant way. Draw near to Him and He will draw near to You. Delight in Him and He will delight in you.
