Mighty To Save (Psalm 33 - Part 2 of 2)

Today's full One Year Bible readings:
Exodus 34:1-35:9 ~ Matthew 27:15-31 ~ Psalm 33:12-22 ~ Proverbs 9:1-6

Psalm 33:12-22 elevates our eyes to the amazing God of the universe; he sees all mankind and watches everything that happens. The psalmist reminds us that no king is saved by the size of his army. Tanks, guns, soldiers, and horses are a vain hope for deliverance; they cannot save - only the LORD saves! Only the LORD delivers! May we respond along with the ancient worshipers, who said...

20 We wait in hope for the LORD;
he is our help and our shield.

21 In him our hearts rejoice,
for we trust in his holy name.

22 May your unfailing love rest upon us, O LORD,
even as we put our hope in you.

Psalm 33:20-22

Today, as an act of worship, place your trust in the LORD! He is mighty to save!
