My Heart Leaps for Joy

Today's full One Year Bible readings:

Psalm 28 brings to mind the great privilege and responsibility we have of depending on God every day of our lives. Not only should we call on God for mercy and grace in our time of need, but we should joyfully respond with thanksgiving and praise when He acts on our behalf.

6 Praise be to the LORD,
for he has heard my cry for mercy.

7 The LORD is my strength and my shield;
my heart trusts in him, and I am helped.
My heart leaps for joy
and I will give thanks to him in song.
