Today's full reading: 1 Corinthians 14:18-40
"What then shall we say, brothers? When you come together, everyone has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation. All of these must be done for the strengthening of the church. But everything should be done in a fitting and orderly way." (1 Corinthians 14:26, 40 NIV)
I love the word that Paul shares with the church in today's reading. It is a clear reminder that we must all come to worship with a unique offering-a heart offering. When we gather with other believers we must be mindful of what God has done in our lives in recent days and be prepared and willing to share it with the church.
Today, as an act of worship, thank our Heavenly Father for orchestrating all the events in your life in such a way that you have a heart offering to bring to the Church. Commit to offer your life and experiences to the will of the Father for his glory.
