Leviticus 13:1-59 ~ Mark 6:1-29 ~ Psalm 39:1-13 ~ Proverbs 10:10
Here's a neat video for today. Live Live You Were Dying (song by Tim McGraw, video footage from The Bucket List) Enjoy!
In Psalm 39 the worshiper blurts out a pea for the Lord to reveal how much longer his earthly life will last. Its a question that helps us put things in perspective. Regardless of whether or not God tells us how much longer we will live, we should live like today is the last day we have.
Today, as an act of worship, seize every opportunity to glorify God with a fresh zeal as if it were your final opportunity (you never know - it very well may be).4 "Show me, O LORD, my life's end
5 You have made my days a mere handbreadth;
and the number of my days;
let me know how fleeting is my life.
the span of my years is as nothing before you.
Each man's life is but a breath.
Psalm 39:4-5
